From poor to prosperous with your gracious help

Thrive Madagascar November 2017

Lighting up their lives with the solar powered Luminaids donated by Gosford North Rotary Club

As another Christmas approaches, I look back on the journey of Thrive Madagascar that started when I was a teenager. Christmas is a time for me to thank all the generous supporters who have joined our mission of providing education and opportunity to some of the poorest people in the world. Madagascar usually ranks as the fourth poorest country on a global scale. It is one of the most forgotten and overlooked nations. It doesn’t even rate a mention on world weather maps!

I believe that God called me to this beautiful country, filled with beautiful people.

As a husband and father, I have a family and life in Australia to support. However, it is my dream to spend more time in Madagascar in 2018 guiding Thrive’s wonderful team and our life-changing projects. The past year has seen many achievements, including the implementation of community health programs by our skilled experts, Drs Shannon and Brendan Petersen. We have also made considerable progress towards the completion of our Soav Multi Function Centre under the guidance of Construction Projects Manager, Graeme Buchan.

We thank you and pray for your continued support. Next year, with your help, we will achieve even more in education, health and business. We welcome your regular sponsorship, donations and purchases from our shop, where you may find a lovely gift there for a friend or family member.
