Would you let your children drink this water?
In a recent health survey for Thrive sponsored children living in The Complex, we discovered that many of them supplement their meagre water supply from this canal. Our Health Advocates also discovered that many of these children regularly experience dysentery. Sadly, for some of them the effects are far more serious and result in death from water-borne diseases.

Drs Shannon and Brendan Petersen will be doing frontline health work in Madagascar from mid February 2017. We would like to purchase two high-volume water purifiers that they can use to provide a litre of clean water per day to each of the 120 children Thrive sponsors through the Kids in School project in both Tana and Soav. Any additional funds raised will be put towards Thrive’s community health clinics.
